The 7th annual MS Rowathon14/02/2020
The 7th annual MS Rowathon took place on Sunday 9th February at Beau Sejour.
This physically demanding, but fun event, is an important fundraiser for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Guernsey Branch. The teams of 6 rowed 30km on rowing machines, with each individual member rowing 5km in 1km relay stints.
This year there was the added interest of Simon Johns tackling the 30k on his own and Chris Tostevin-Hall who rowed 100km in a solo event! Chris, incredibly rowed non-stop all day taking 7hrs 37min 35secs to complete the distance. The photo of Chris is a little blurred, showing how fast he was rowing. He was supported by both his wife and son.
A big thank you goes to all the teams for participating and a special thank you goes to Mark Windsor for organising this event again for us.
