Pregnancy and MS
15/02/2019There are many women in their 20's and 30's, who have been diagnosed with MS, wishing to start a family.
Having MS does not prevent you from getting pregnant; there is currently no evidence that having MS causes infertility. In fact, studies have shown that being pregnant and the subsequent delivery of a baby with a woman with MS, are not significantly different to a women without MS.
A positive feature commonly felt by pregnant women with MS, is they find that their MS symptoms seem to improve whilst being pregnant.
The MS UK site has a lot of useful information about pregnancy and MS.
