We have all read about how the sunshine vitamin is important for those with Multiple Sclersosis. However, did you also know that scientific research has shown that vitamin D plays an important role in maintaining a healthy balance of gut microbiome. Sadly, we don't see as much of the sun as we'd like to, unless of course we are lucky enough to afford to fly to the sun during our winter months! Many of us take vitamin D supplements to increase our intake of the vitamin.
