A five year study carried out by scientists have backed up what we all thought, living in green leafy areas may be good for our hearts, and gives us a positive sense of well being. The good news though is if you live in an area of Guernsey with few trees, then even an outing to a park could still provide you with some of the health benefits.
Of course, living in Guernsey whichever parish we live in we are never far from the sea. We are lucky to have some stunning beaches virtually on our doorstep. I looked into research on the benefits of living by the sea and reams of information came up.

The second link is to a slightly older article in the Coast Magazine back in January 2017 but I think it is still relevant today.
