Donate your used stamps
Your used postage stamps can be used to help raise money for the MS Society.  We can use any stamps from the Bailiwick and all foreign stamps. However, unfortunately, UK stamps are not worth enough to make them worth saving. If you enjoy sending and receiving letters and parcels through the post this is a great way you can support the MS Society without it costing you a penny! Donate…

Technology has improved everyone’s lives, however, many will argue whether this is for the better or not.  Technology can keep you connected with family and friends no matter where in the world they are, giving parents and grandparents the opportunity to keep in…

A group of scientists working in the university of Montreal Hospital Research Centre, believe they have discovered a way to block the progression of MS.  In a healthy brain the blood-brain barrier protects the brain from B lymphocyte cells, a type of white blood cell, however, with MS this barrier is compromised. It has long been known that MS relaspses are less likely to occur whilst being pregnant, however, the risk of relapses increase on average during the first 6 months after giving birth.Research has shown that breastfeeding may reduce the risk of  suffering a relapse.  For further information please click the…

Vitamin D and your gut
We have all read about how the sunshine vitamin is important for those with Multiple Sclersosis.  However, did you also know that scientific research has shown that vitamin D plays an important role in maintaining a healthy balance of gut microbiome.  Sadly, we don't see as much of the sun as we'd like to, unless of course we are lucky enough to afford to fly to the sun during our winter…
